The Faith Electric GLS-15A-WH-10 self-testing ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet provides continuous protection against ground faults, automatically disconnecting power in 1/40 of a second if a dangerous condition is detected. Once connected to power, this GFCI receptacle automatically self-tests every 2-1/2 hours, ensuring ongoing protection. The green indicator LED light turns off if the outlet is not receiving power, is broken, or has reached the end of its lifespan.
Designed with a slimmer, modern profile, the GFCI outlet is easier and quicker to install in electrical boxes. The test and reset buttons match the device face color, blending in seamlessly. Compliant with UL943 2015 standards and National Electric Code (NEC) requirements, the GFCI outlet is ETL listed.
Each 10-pack includes one 15Amp white GFCI receptacle, one 4.59"x 2.76" white wall plate, two screws, an installation manual, stickers, and access to US-based customer support. The GFCI outlet features terminals that allow for easy wiring options, with both back and side wire capability.
The GFCI outlet provides protection from electrical shocks that might occur from faulty appliances in damp locations. The device detects and trips on ground faults within 1/40 of a second, ensuring continuous protection. The green LED indicator light shows that the device is functioning correctly.
