A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) receptacle differs from conventional receptacles. In the event of a ground fault, a GFCI will quickly trip and stop the flow of electricity, preventing serious injury.
The GFCI comes with stickers and a wall plate. It can be used without a ground wire, but it is recommended to use one for added safety.
The Tamper-Resistant (TR) outlet protects children by featuring a shutter system that prevents the improper insertion of foreign objects.
The Weather-Resistant (WR) outlet is made of a unique material, unlike traditional outlets. When used outdoors, traditional outlets can easily deteriorate, but the WR outlet can withstand various weather conditions, such as sunlight, heat, humidity, and even cold or rainy days, without worrying about surface damage.
The GFCI receptacle has an Indicator Light that turns off when the outlet is unpowered, broken, or at the end of its lifespan. Pressing the TEST button will trip the device, causing the green light to turn off.
The TEST button and RESET button work in conjunction. When the TEST button is pressed, the flow of electricity should stop, and the RESET button will pop out. To restore power, press the RESET button.

This product meets UL requirements and complies with the National Electrical Code. Follow the STRIP GAUGE on the back of the outlet to strip the thermoplastic insulation layer (copper part) properly.
The outlet is designed for use with #12-#14 wire. Push the screw and insert the wire through the back-wire hole on the top, then tighten the screw clockwise. Do not tighten it anticlockwise, as it will not work.
This GFCI receptacle comes with a 1-year warranty and is UL listed, ensuring quality and safety.
