The SnapPower GuideLight Generation 2 is an improved version of the original GuideLight design, designed to meet the needs of our customers. The LED lighting has been enhanced with a softly diffused light bar, providing the same amount of night-lighting that customers have come to love. The improved prongs make it even easier to install and work better with different outlets.

The GuideLight 2 brings beautiful pathway, bathroom, bedroom, backsplash, nursery, and garage lighting to your home. It is a safe and reliable solution, eliminating the need to worry about stubbing your toes in the middle of the night, the monsters under the bed, and waking the house up when you get up at night.

The light sensor on the face of the plate ensures that the GuideLight will look like a regular cover-plate during the day and light up for lighting when it is dark at night. Unlike a traditional night light, the GuideLight 2 has built-in LED lights, so the cover does not protrude from the wall, heat up, or break. Moreover, the GuideLight 2 only costs about 10 cents per year to power.

In seconds, your house can be safe, lighted, and more like home with the GuideLight 2. It is important to note that the Duplex and Decor styles do not work on GFCI outlets (with the Test and Reset buttons) and are currently not compatible with GFCI (test and reset) outlets.

It is important to note that there are a handful of LED ceiling light bulbs that do not trigger the photosensor in the GuideLight, resulting in the GuideLight remaining on. We recommend changing your lightbulb with any commonly available light bulbs from major retailers to ensure proper functioning of the GuideLight.
