The Horizontal GuideLight has been adapted with LED lighting along the long side to create the perfect accent and night light on a variety of surfaces such as kitchen islands, countertops, shelves, and bathrooms, as well as anywhere else you may have horizontally installed outlets. It is activated by a light sensor, turning on at dusk and off at dawn, and also includes a BRIGHT/DIM/OFF toggle switch to provide an additional level of control. The Horizontal GuideLight can also be installed in vertical outlets to create side-facing, directional lighting.
Regarding the GFCI note, only the GFCI style is designed to work with GFCI outlets, which have the Test and Reset buttons. The outlet itself is not included.
The LED lighting has been adapted along the long side of the Horizontal Design, creating the perfect accent and night light for various areas in the home. The outlet cover plate offers three settings: bright, dim, and ON/OFF, allowing users to adjust the light intensity as needed.
The SnapPower GuideLight 2 features built-in LED night lights, providing a convenient and energy-efficient solution for lighting up dark areas in the home. The easy installation process involves fitting the device over the existing electrical outlet wall plate, without the need for wires or batteries.
It is important to note that there are a handful of LED ceiling light bulbs that do not trigger the photosensor in the GuideLight, resulting in the GuideLight remaining on. In such cases, it is recommended to change the lightbulb with any commonly available light bulbs from major retailers.
